The Tunisian domestic league season will play out without the influence of any fans.
The remaining 10 matches of the Tunisian league will be played behind closed doors following violent clashes that forced two games to be abandoned.
The directive will not affect matches of the African Champions League or Confederation Cup.
Rampaging fans at stadiums have caused Tunisian referees to muzzle their whistles until security issues are addressed at game centres.
On 17 April, the game between Olympique Beja and AS Marsa as well as Club Bizertiain against CS Sfaxien last Sunday were all abandoned due to crowd trouble resulting from opposing goals.
As a result of the referees’ strike action two Wednesday games could not come off.
The Tunisian Football Federation, according to the BBC, meets the referees on Thursday to address the situation.
The report said only a few police personnel of about 30 were on duty to control a crowd of 15,000 during the clash in Bizerte.
Fans damaged stadium facilities and television cameras to protest CS Sfaxien’s 3-0 lead in the first 20 minutes of the game.
