Chelsea striker Didier Drogba will not be heading for pastures new in the summer, according to his agent.
The arrival of Fernando Torres in the January transfer window had led to speculation Drogba could be set for a summer exit, with Spurs and former club Marseille amongst those to have been credited with an interest.
However, The Ivory Coast international will be staying at Stamford Bridge despite Torres’ arrival and the speculation surrounding his future, according to Drogba’s agent Thierno Seydi.
Seydi said: “A lot was said over a possible departure of Didier Drogba.
“That is not the order of the day.
“He stays at this club, which he knows very well.”
