Ghana defender Isaac Vorsah will return to training for German side Hoffenheim on Friday after recovering from injury.

The World Cup star missed last week’s Bundesliga game against Mainz because of an ankle injury on his right leg.

The centre-back tore a ankle ligament in training and had a Magnetic Resonance Imaging at the Heidelberg hospital.

He will return to training on Friday with a possibility of playing for Hoffenheim this weekend.

The Ghana World Cup star has already missed two games already this season after picking up a red card on match day 15 against Stuttgart.

Head coach Marco Pezzaiuoli is thinking of how he could fill the vacant position in the back four again.

Vorsah has scored four goals for the side this season.
