Sessegnon, Muntari not to blame for winless run - Bramble

Muntari in action on Sunderland debut

Sunderland defender Titus Bramble says new signings Stephane Sessegnon and Sulley Muntari are not to blame for the club’s recent winless run.

The duo who arrived in January have played in the last four of the Black Cats games which have disappointingly ended in defeats but the stalwart defender says its a mere coincidence.

“It’s been very difficult for Sulley and Stephane to come in during a run like this, but they’re experienced players and they know what football is all about,” bramble said.

“You can play well but not get the result, and that’s what’s been happening to us recently. But I’m sure we’ll stay positive, we have a great squad with great players. We’ll get out of this run.

“We’re a very young squad and there are quite a few players that have had a very hard season.”
