Hanover striker Didier Ya Konan is likely to be out for around two weeks with a knee injury, the German club announced on Thursday.
The Ivory Coast youngster has been in scintillating form this year which has seen him clinched a pivotal role with the Bundesliga side.
“He will be out for at least 10 days, maybe even more,” said Hanover coach Mirko Slomka, who revealed that the player would consult specialists after a recurrence of pain in his right knee.
Ya Konan underwent knee surgery at the end of 2010 before quickly returning to competitive action.
