Tangerines to hand Kingston career lifeline

Laryea Kingston

Blackpool are closing in on a deal to secure the services of midfielder Laryea Kingston according to reports.

The Ghana international, who is the brother of Seasiders keeper Richard Kingson, is a free agent after having his contract with Dutch outfit Vitesse Arnhem cancelled.

Ian Holloway is eager to bolster his squad in January and a deal for the free agent could be ideal for the Blackpool boss as he will only have a limited budget to enhance his side.

The 30-year-old has previously played for Scottish side Hearts and could be set to move to Bloomfield Road in the coming days.
