Striker Henri Camara has thrown caution to the wind by claiming Senegal is currently a better side than rivals, Cameroon.
The two sides lock horns in March when the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers resumes but the Atromitos player believes the current strike force of the Terranga Lions is more than enough to scare any opposition let alone the Indomitable Lions.
“With Mamadou Niang (Fenerbahçe), Papis Demba Cissé (Fribourg), Demba Bâ (Hoffenheim) and Moussa Sow (Lille) upfront, there is no team that can stand us,” he said.
“It is true that Cameroon is among the best nation of football on the continent and in the world but with the current team of Senegal, we should not be afraid of any team.”
But despite the power of the Lions, Henri Camara, a 2002 African Cup sliver medalist in Mali is not entirely in a bullish mood.
“It does not mean leaving all the games initiative to Cameroon ”he said noting that if the national coach (Amara Traore) finds him apt to , he is always ready to wear the national jersey.
