Former Ghana U-20 Coach Sellas Tetteh has told his charges to be on their mettle if they are to win any laurels at the on-going Cecafa Cup in Tanzania.
Rwanda recorded an impressive 2-1 win over tournament gues’st Ivory Coast on Sunday to leave them joint table toppers with Zanzibar who beat Sudan 2-0.
With still Sudan and Zanzibar to play in the group, the Ghanaian tactician has asked his players to maintain their focus and hunger to win.
“We got the start we were looking for so it is now important that we build on it,” Tetteh emphasized in an interview.
Tetteh saw his boys battled from behind to down the Ivorians and maintained he is eying a first silverware with the team but will take the tournament in stages.
“It’s too early to start talking about the title. We are taking it game by game.” He said.
The Wasps have won the Cecafa Cup on only one occasion coming in 1998.
