Sulley Muntari emerged out of his numerous troubles at Inter to score a vital goal to help keep Inter Milan’s title defence on course.

Muntari came off the becnh to clinch winner for the Champions
The Ghanaian midfielder as the case of this season, started from the becnh but had to replace Esteban Cambiasso who picked an injury just 19 minutes into the game.
Inter’s defence had to be on high alert as Genoa showed signs of attacking qualities early in the game with Luca Toni causing problems in front of goal.
However, a goalkeeping howler on the part of Genoa keeper Eduardo changed the fate of the game just minutes before recess.
A fierce 25-yard shot from Muntari bounced just in front of Eduardo, who made a poor attempt to save as the ball bounced-off his shoulder and rolled into the net.
Inter maintained their composure for the best part of the second half as Genoa threw more men forward but their attempt to restore parity was fruitless.
