Cameroonian Djemba Djemba Wes Brom deal falls through

Djemba Djemba in action for Cameroon

Former Cameroonian international Eric Djemba Djemba’s proposed return to the EPL with Wes Brom has been called after the midfielder failed a medical at the club on Thursday.

The 29 year old flew in to England earlier this week hoping to conclude a move from Danish club Odense.

The English club said of the failed move to sign the former Indomitable Lion: “West Brom have decided not to pursue their interest in Odense midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba.

“He travelled to England to meet the club earlier this week, but following medical tests and further talks between the clubs, Albion have decided not to proceed with a deal.”

The filed move is a big blow for the player who was hoping to get a second crack at the Premiership after failed stints with Man Utd, Aston Villa and and Burnley between 2003-2007.
